Activity: (VIDEO) ▶️ Calf stretch with strap: knee bent


A stretch for the calf using a belt or a strap. Involves toe and ankle flexors with added focus on soleus.


  • laying on your back
  • hold both ends of a belt or strap and loop the middle under the stretch-side foot
  • keeping the knee slightly bent, flex the hip and lift the leg to a comfortable height
  • use the strap to assist flexing the foot upwards
  • hold and repeat as needed
