Activity: (VIDEO) ▶️ Hip flexion adduction stretch


Stretch into hip flexion and adduction, involving the more posterior fingers of the gluteal muscles.


  • sitting on the floor
  • one leg outstretched and the other leg flexed (hip and knee bent)
  • the foot of the flexed leg placed on the floor on the outside of the opposite knee
  • turn the upper body towards the flexed knee
  • hold and repeat as needed
