Activity: (VIDEO) ▶️ Hamstring stretch – sitting


A stretch, from sitting, for the posterior aspect of the hip and thigh.


  • sitting position, one leg flexed up while the other is outstretched
  • flex forward at the hips to bring the body towards the outstretched leg, without flexing or rounding the spine
  • a stretch should be felt at the posterior thigh
  • hold and repeat as needed
