SummaryAn exercise working on dissociating upper thoracic extension from lower thoracic extension.
- sitting upright with your shoulders relaxed
- rest one hand on your sternum with the other hand on the front of the lower ribcage
- focus on extending your upper thorax without using your lower thorax or lumbar spine (ie: no movement in the bottom hand and no arching of the low back)
- return to the start position
- repeat as needed
