Ankle dorsiflexion mobilization on bench

  • in standing, place the stretch side foot on a bench
  • you may grasp behind the knee at the upper calf to guide the movement
  • shift your weight forward allowing the knee and ankle to flex
  • move through the range and hold as needed
  • repeat as needed

    A simple mobilization exercise to improve ankle dorsiflexion. Can also be modified for focus on tibiofemoral (knee) flexion.
