Finger flexion stretch – Proximal IP joint focus

Stretch for the proximal inter phalangeal joint and the extensors of the finger.

  • flex or curl up your finger towards the palm of the hand
  • very gently, add pressure at the first finger joint past the MCP joint(knuckle)
  • hold and repeat as needed
  • can add wrist flexion to add some stretch to the long extensors of the finger
