Hamstring stretch with strap

A stretch for the posterior thigh (hamstring) using a belt or a strap. Involves toe and ankle flexors with added focus on gastrocnemius.

  • laying on your back
  • hold both ends of a belt or strap and loop the middle under the stretch-side foot
  • keeping the knee straight, flex the hip/lift the leg to a comfortable height
  • use the strap to add to the stretch
  • hold and repeat as needed
