Hamstring stretch with strap
A stretch for the posterior thigh (hamstring) using a belt or a strap. Involves toe and ankle flexors with added focus on gastrocnemius.
- laying on your back
- hold both ends of a belt or strap and loop the middle under the stretch-side foot
- keeping the knee straight, flex the hip/lift the leg to a comfortable height
- use the strap to add to the stretch
- hold and repeat as needed
