Hip adduction from side plank

A srengthening exercise for hip adductors, done from a side plank with use of a bench.ul>

  • start in a side plank position with inner aspect of the “top side” foot supported on a stable workout bench
  • slowly raise the other leg to meet the top leg
  • hold if needed
  • be sure to maintain a neutral spine position throughout this movement
  • return to the starting position
  • repeat as needed
