Thoracic, thoracolumbar and shoulder mobility: kneeling trunk twist

Thoracic, thoracolumbar and shoulder mobility exercise from kneeling position.

  • Start from kneeling, allowing the knees to be apart enough to allow for the pelvis to sink into a comfortable position.
  • bend forwards from the hips and spine and, with hands together, rotate your upper body to one side, sliding lower arm out along the floor
  • only work in the comfortable range of motion
  • you can incorporate deep breathing to further work on thoracic mobility
  • repeat as needed on both sides(can move through the range or hold at certain ranges)
