Ankle dorsiflexion with strap, minimizing impingement of anterior capsule.
- in standing, place the stretch side ankle through the strap or belt loop
- the strap should rest at the lowest part of the leg, and not on any part of the foot
- the other end of the loop should be tied or fixed to something solid that won’t move
- take up the slack in the loop, then start to bend forward at the ankle, feeling a slight posterior pull from the strap
- hold and repeat as needed
