(VIDEO) ▶️ Bridge: posterior sling

An active exercise for the trunk and lower extremity, involving the muscles of the posterior chain and posterior sling.

  • laying on your back, knees bent, feet placed flat on the ground
  • extend or “hinge” up from the hips, lifting your back and pelvis off the ground, while keeping your spine neutral
  • without dropping the pelvis, lift the opposite elbow and foot a few inches off the ground, then lower them
  • repeat as needed
