(VIDEO) ▶️ Knee flexion, hip extension stretch with bench: standing

A simple knee flexion stretch in standing, involving the quadriceps, in particular the rectus femoris, and the hip flexor (iliopsoas).

  • standing on one leg, reach the stretch-side leg back so that the shin is resting on a bench
  • extend the stretch-side hip back until a comfortable stretch is felt
  • hold and repeat as needed
