Forwards and side flexion stretch for the cervical spine, with focus on elongating the spine.
- sitting or standing with the shoulders relaxed
- tilt the head forward and to one side while focusing on elongating the neck
- the hand opposite the stretch-side can be used to gently add to the stretch, taking care not to add compression to the neck
- hold and repeat as needed
