(VIDEO) ▶️ Rolling calf

Rolling for the posterior aspect of the lower leg, involving the gastrocnemius, soleus and the ankle, foot and toe flexors of the deep posterior compartment of the leg.

  • sitting on the ground, one leg flexed up with the foot on the floor, while the other leg is outstretched
  • place your hands on the ground to support your upper body
  • place the calf of the outstretched leg on a roller
  • roll the calf forward and backward on the roller
  • repeat as needed
