(VIDEO) ▶️ Scalenes stretch

A neck stretch targeting the scalenes group of muscles at the base of the neck.

  • sitting or standing with the shoulders relaxed
  • with one hand, gently press down on the scalenes muscle group (near the base of the neck and in front of the trapezius muscle)
  • tilt your head to the opposite side until a stretch is felt under the fingers
  • hold and repeat as needed
