An upper body resistance exercise in a functional lunge position, focused on the posterior sling stabilizing muscles.

  • standing with your arm at your side with your elbow flexed to 90 degrees
  • hold the resistance band or cable  pulley in the hand
  • Keeping your elbow at your side, externally rotate the shoulder, pulling the hand outwards against the resistance
  • repeat as needed
