(VIDEO) ▶️ Shoulder stabilization in flexed position

Shoulder resistance exercise with resistance band, involving the rotator cuff, shoulder flexors and elbow extensors.

  • attach a resistance band to something stable at approximately elbow height
  • grasping the other end of the band, turn away so your back is at the fixation point
  • with the chest wide and shoulders relatively relaxed, press forward with the hand against the resistance
  • from this position, with the arm straight, add either circular or other small, purposeful movements to the hand in space
  • repeat as needed
