Upper thoracic opening exercise in supine over a small roll.

  • laying on your back, knees bent, with a roller under the thoracic spine
  • support the head with hands, keeping the neck in a neutral position
  • gently roll back, extending the thorax (upper back) to a comfortable position
  • incorporate deep breathing to further facilitate thoracic extension
  • repeat as needed
