Wrist extension stretch with belt or strap to help minimize dorsal wrist impingement.
- gently rest the palm of one hand on the table or countertop and keep the forearm near vertical
- loop a belt or strap around the back of forearm near the wrist
- bring the forearm towards the back of the hand, effectively bending the wrist into extension, while still lightly keeping the palm contacting the countertop
- simultaneously pull the strap opposite the direction of movement to apply a slight pressure to the end of the forearm
- repeat as needed
