Thoracolumbar rotation, in 4-point kneeling, with upper extremity mobility

Active mobility exercise for the upper extremities and thoracolumbar region

  • start in a 4-point kneeling position, keeping the spine neutral position
  • lift one hand off the floor and reach across the body, through the space between the opposite side arm and leg, always breathing through the movement
  • then pull the arm back and reach your hand in the opposite direction and rotate your trunk to facilitate the movement, reaching up to the sky
  • repeat as needed
