(VIDEO) ▶️ Side plank with side leg raise

A stabilization exercise involving the upper extremity and lateral aspect of the trunk and hip.

  • side lying while propped up on one elbow
  • maintain good alignment of the whole body
  • maintaining alignment and keeping on your side, elevate the top leg (with the knee straight) to the side while keeping in the same plane
  • return to the side plank position
  • repeat as needed
